The National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) and Urban Development Corporation (UDC) acknowledge the tragic passing of Mr Wilford Edmondson and express condolences to his family on the loss of their loved one.

The National Environment and Planning Agency's (NEPA) takes this opportunity to respond to a letter written by Authnel S. Reid, published on 24 July 2014. It is a fact that NEPA is responsible for the administering of the annual game bird hunting season under the Wild Life Protection Act (1945).

In a Sunday Gleaner article dated Sunday, April 20, 2014 and titled, 'Rejected- Portland stakeholders say no to provisional plan to govern development of the parish', some issues were raised of which the Authority would like to address.
The Town and Country Planning Authority (TCPA) welcomes feedback and comments received for the Portland Provisional Development Order.
The National Council on Ocean and Coastal Zone Management (NCOCZM) during its 133rd meeting on 18th September 2018 expressed its full support for the Government’s recent announcement of the imminent ban on single use plastic bags, straws and styrofoam.
The multi-agency Council, chaired by Senator the Honourable Pearnel Charles Jr, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, is tasked with, among other things, formulating marine sector policies and sensitizing the public to the importance of the marine sector to the sustainable development of Jamaica.
