Three judicial symposia were hosted in Ocho Rios by the National Environment and Planning Agency in association with the Canadian International Development Agency - Environmental Action (ENACT) Programme and the United States Agency For International Development - Ridge to Reef Watershed Project.  These symposia were designed to deliver a sensitization programme for Court of Appeal Judges, Supreme Court Judges, Resident Magistrates, and Clerks of Court on environmental issues and to bring the participants abreast with new developments in environmental and planning legislation.  This CD contains the proceedings of these symposia, some background information, the major recommendations to move forward and finally environmental and planning laws in Jamaica as well as the related Policies.
